What is RepliGo Server?
RepliGo Server is a secure solution for BlackBerry Enterprise Server environments that wish to view documents and email attachments in their full fidelity without compromise.
RepliGo Server supports Adobe® PDF, Microsoft® Word, Excel, PowerPoint®, WordPerfect, .RTF, .CSV, OpenOffice files, zip archives, fax and image files. This solution resides behind the company firewall and is administered by the company IT department or BES administrator. In addition to viewing documents, RepliGo Server provides a way to fax and email documents direct from the BlackBerry. Users can also print documents over Bluetooth to any HP PCL Bluetooth compatible printer.
RepliGo Server is compatible with BlackBerry 7100 Series, BlackBerry 7200 Series, BlackBerry 7500 Series, and BlackBerry 7700 Series, BlackBerry 8100 Series, BlackBerry 8300, BlackBerry 8700 and BlackBerry 8800 Series with BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES).
What are the System Requirements?
- Intel® Pentium® IV processor, 2GHz, 512 MB RAM or greater.
- Windows 2000 Server (Service Pack 4 or higher), Windows 2003 Server.
- A minimum of 230 MB of disk space is required for installation. Also, disk space will be used for document caching and will vary depending on your organization’s usage. Make at least 1 GB of disk space available per 100 users.
- JavaScript enabled browser for Administrator pages.
- BlackBerry Enterprise Server (one of the following configurations):
- BlackBerry Enterprise Server 3.6 for Microsoft Exchange (Service Pack 4 or higher)
- BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.0 or higher - for Microsoft Exchange.
- BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.0 or higher - for Lotus Domino.
- BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.0 or higher - for Novell GroupWise.
**NOTE: The sending of email attachments, faxing from RepliGo, and the browser integration features of RepliGo Server 2.0 require BES 4.1.2 or higher.
- Email server that is compatible with BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
- BlackBerry Enterprise Server must have MDS enabled for all users utilizing the solution. This may require an IT Policy change to “Allow Internal Connections”.
- BlackBerry devices must have OS 4.0 or higher.
- Fonts supporting additional languages must be installed via the Windows Control Panel in order to view documents in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hebrew, Arabic and other languages. Alternatively, the Microsoft Office font “Arial Unicode MS” can be installed if you meet the conditions of Microsoft Office’s EULA.
- Microsoft Office 2007 can optionally be installed to support the new Office 2007 XML-based formats. No additional software is required for support of previous Office formats (2003 and earlier).

What are the System Requirements?
The following BlackBerry devices and operating systems are supported.
- BlackBerry 7100; 7200; 7500; 7700 Series
- BlackBerry 8100; 8700; 8800 Series
- BlackBerry Operating System version 4.0 or above
- RepliGo Professional requires an HTTP connection to the wireless service which can be accomplished in one of the following ways:
- BlackBerry Enterprise Server with Mobile Data Services (MDS) enabled
- BlackBerry Internet Service if supported by your wireless carrier
- Direct TCP with OS 4.0 or higher if supported by your wireless carrier
- Over a WAP gateway if supported by your wireless carrier
- Recommended BlackBerry handhelds for printing are the 8100, 8800, and the 8700 series only. The printer must be HP PCL3 compatible and Bluetooth enabled. More information.
Note: If your device is part of a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) environment, your settings must allow for proper permissions for installing third-party applications and services. Check with your IT or network administrator if necessary.
